Leading into tomorrow’s final round of the Longines FEI World Cup Jumping Final in Gothenburg, U.S. riders Callan Solem and Peter Lutz currently hold places in the Top 10 Overall Ranking. Impressively, this is the first time both riders have competed at a World Cup Final. Solem is tied for 6th – in the excellent company of French riders Simon Delestre and Pénélope Leprévost. Peter Lutz is tied for 10th with Germany’s Christian Ahlmann, winner of last night’s Jumping Final II, and Ireland’s Denis Lynch.

To date, Callan Solem has competed on 6 Nations Cup teams. Last April, Solem and VDL Wizard won the Nations Cup in Coapexpan, Mexico and were part of the winning team in Xalapa, Mexico that secured the U.S. team’s place in the Nation’s Cup Final in Barcelona.

After a solid ride in last night’s Jumping Final II, Lutz was one of only seven riders to make it into the jump-off.
