What do you have when you mix an equestrian event as prestigious as the Longines Global Champions Tour of Paris, on the same grounds as the incredible Eiffel Tower? A fashion extravaganza! Parlanti, Alberto Fasciani, Dada Sport, Licarzo and Alexandra Ledermann were all in attendance.
French brand Alexandra Ledermann is quite fashion forward, while still mastering the classic equestrian sport look. Their GlamBack Lycra short sleeve show shirt is a favorite. The lace pattern on the back shoulder is just enough to add a little feminine edge to this classic style. It wears perfectly with their white stretchy cotton GeniAL breech. I absolutely love the diagonal piping that adorns the front pockets of these easy to wear breeches. Add one of their gorgeous belts with the AL logo buckle and you are certain to turn heads in the show ring.
The Camilla breech by the Italian company Licarzo is fabulous. It is a well designed cotton lycra breech which comes in all the equestrian color classics. The fine detail around the front and back pockets comes in a range of contrasting colors—truly making these breeches stand out in the show ring. The faux back pockets have a fantastic diamond shaped stud with inlaid rhinestones. I was tempted to purchase a pair in every single color available!
Dada Sport out of Paris really has the urban equestrian style nailed. This brand excels in stable to street design that is not only stylish to ride in but fashionable enough to wear out after the barn. I fell in love with their gorgeous soft sweater jackets and their preppy pocket T-Shirts. These styles look great with breeches, jeans or a cute pleated skirt. They also have a line of chic show clothes, including blazers and matching show shirts. Their Corradina breeches are sleek and comfortable.
We are all familiar with the elegant and classic style of Alberto Fasciani boots. Did you know that they also offer fashionable footwear in addition to their exquisite boots? The gorgeous red suede loafers immediately caught my eye. Alberto Fasciani is known for crafting from only the highest quality materials and these shoes are no exception. Pair them with a sleek black jumpsuit and Panama style hat and you are ready to spend an afternoon watching the best show jumping in the world. Their sneakers are super comfortable and have a really cool urban vibe. It takes an innovative company to pull off classic tall riding boots as well as urban sneakers. Impressive!
Paris, a city known for fashion and style definitely did not disappoint. The classic and elegant equestrian look will never go out of style. Being modern, stylish and adding a little edge is what keeps the trends fresh and appealing to styled equestrians.
