For four days this September, a unique competition that combines the best of show jumping, glamorous entertainment and luxury lifestyle will come to the United States for the very first time. Los Angeles, California will host the first American Grand Slam, the Longines Los Angeles Masters, at the Los Angeles Convention Center, September 25th-28th.

Horse & Style Magazine is honored to partner with the Los Angeles Masters as official, exclusive equestrian media partner of the event.

Modeled after the Grand Slam in tennis, the Masters competitions are broadcasted to a global audience of over 550 million homes, making it the most televised show jumping competition in the world.

“I cannot think of a higher honor than to be named the official equestrian media partner of the first edition of the Longines Los Angeles Masters,” commented H&S Publisher Sarah Appel. “We look forward to this September’s Longines Los Angeles Masters, and know that the entire West Coast shares our excitement for the debut of this prestigious event, a level of which has never been seen before in California.”

Recognized by both the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) and the U.S. Equestrian Federation (USEF) as a CSI 5* event, the American leg of the Masters Grand Slam Indoor will put Los Angeles on the international equestrian scene as the 25 best riders in the world compete for a total prize money of 1 million USD.

“As an American rider I am very proud that such a high class sports event is finally coming to the US,” said US Olympian Reed Kessler. “I have been riding at the European Masters Grand Slam – the Gucci Paris Masters – since I was 16 and I hope that all American riders join me in LA for this spectacular competition.”
